I earned my MFA in studio art from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006 and my MA in 2005. During my time at UW-Madison I worked primarily in ceramic sculpture, exploring a variety of firing techniques, including wood, raku, and salt firings.
During graduate school I showed my work regularly in group and solo exhibitions in Madison and the surrounding cities. I created several large- and small-scale installations in galleries, city buildings and an old ironworks building. My MFA thesis exhibition consisted of several outdoor installations in Allen Centennial Gardens on the UW-Madison campus.
